Admissions Documents

Indonesian citizens

Applicants for Preschool 3, Preschool 4 and Foundation

Students ages three, four, and five who hold Indonesian passports may apply to AIS and, once admitted, may attend the school without submitting a transfer letter (Surat Mutasi) from another school to get a national student number from Indonesia’s Ministry of Education (MOE).

Please note: Due to Indonesian government regulations, all Indonesian passport-holding students aged six and above who transfer from another school to AIS Indonesia must submit a transfer letter (Surat Mutasi). Please contact the admissions office at admissions@ais-indonesia.com for further information before applying.

AIS welcomes Indonesian applicants who hold dual citizenship. They must submit a copy of AFFIDAVIT as part of the admissions requirements. If they fail to provide the affidavit, they will be declared as Indonesian citizens, and they must take the religion, Bahasa Indonesia, and civic subjects as required by the Indonesian government.

All non-Indonesian applicants must submit a copy of the KITAS or a guarantee letter from the employers stating that the KITAS is under process, and a copy of the KITAS will be submitted once it’s ready.
