Dear Parents and Carers,
This week saw our Year 3, 5, 7 & 9 students participate in their NAPLAN trials. These trials are organised to expose students to the NAPLAN papers in preparation for their upcoming actual NAPLAN papers later this month. It was great seeing how positive all of the students were with completing each NAPLAN paper. It is a great opportunity for our students to practice and become familiar with testing conditions.
The AIS 13/15-year-old basketball team represented AIS in the Bali Schools Sports Associations Basketball finals. All team members should be very proud of their efforts. It looked like a great game, and I hope you enjoy the photos taken by Nicholas (Year 10), which will be featured later in the Bytes.
Today I flew to Adelaide to represent AIS Bali at the International Baccalaureate Global Conference. I will be back on campus next Thursday. I look forward to letting you know more about the conference next week Bytes.
Please do not forget that we finish school next Tuesday at 1150 for Preschool and Primary school and 1210 for High School. Classes resume at 0800 on Thursday. Please let your classroom or homeroom teacher know if your child will be absent on Tuesday or will be taking an extended break for Nyepi.
If you would like to know more about Nyepi, please click here to access a fantastic article from Now Bali.
Enjoy the silence next week.
