PRIMARY CURRICULUM

The AIS Primary program is based on Australian Curriculum, which covers the Foundation (Ages 5-6) to Year 6 (Ages 11-12) levels.

Designed to foster a life long love of learning, the Australian Curriculum aims for the making of successful learners, confident and creative individuals, active and informed citizens. Presented as a developmental sequence of learning from Foundation onwards, the Australian Curriculum involves not only teachers and students but parents and others in the wider community as well. AIS embodies the collaborative spirit of the Australian Curriculum through the use of an integrated curriculum. Designed to stimulate creativity, confidence and curiosity in our students through the delivery of all subjects, AIS primary students benefit from transdisciplinary, integrated learning. Learning experiences are authentic and relevant.
