Year 12 Final Assembly

Our Year 12 students hosted their final school assembly yesterday. It was a wonderful and memorable event, with parents joining us as we farewelled the Senior Class in front of the entire High School. There were several impressive performances, but a highlight was the whole class leading a heartfelt rendition of Tears for Fears’ Everybody Wants to Rule the World, which had the whole audience singing along.

Students were presented with their AIS kangaroos before enjoying morning tea with their parents.

Congratulations to the following students who received Academic Achievement Awards

IB Group 1: Studies in Language & Literature. Mischa

IB Group 2; Language Acquisition. Donghyun

IB Group 3: Individuals and Societies. Nayla

IB Group 4: Sciences. Yoojune

IB Group 5: Mathematics, Kevin

IB Group 6: The Arts. Minami

IB Core components: Theory of Knowledge and the Extended Essay. Mischa

We will celebrate with our Year 12 students again tonight when they will be joined by family, friends and teachers for their Graduation.

Primary School Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to our Primary Swimming Teacher, Ms Jessica for organising a successful Primary Swimming Carnival. Unfortunately it had to be split over two days due to Tuesday’s fierce storms. It was wonderful to see all students, regardless of swimming ability, had activities to participate and compete in.

AIS Alumni

Joshua Kee attended AIS Kemang until 2006. He has most recently worked in the scientific field in Munich and Oxfordshire. It was wonderful to have him visit and be able to show him how AIS looks in 2025. He is pictured with Pak Rick Kee, Board Chair and Joshua’s uncle.

AISA Games

Next week 27 High School Athletes and 8 staff will head to AIS Hong Kong to represent AIS Indonesia at the annual Australian International Schools Association (AISA) Games. Our students will join students form AIS Bali to represent our school in boys and girls football, boys and girls basketball, swimming, mixed touch rugby and girls netball.
