AISA Games

Our Australian International School Association (AISA) Teams are currently enjoying the competition in Hong Kong where they are competing against AIS Hong Kong, AIS Vietnam, AIS Malaysia and AIS Singapore. Reports are coming in Friday afternoon informing us that most of our teams will be playing in the semi finals and we’ve also had some medals in the pool.

Farewell to ECU Practicum Students

Today we farewell the second-year Bachelor of Education students from Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Perth. The students have been working in our Primary School since 3 November and have shown remarkable growth in their classroom practice during their time with us.

They have embraced every aspect of school life — not only planning and teaching engaging lessons, but also supporting our netball teams and assisting at the JASIS Swimming Meet. In addition, they have participated in twice-weekly Bahasa Indonesia lessons led by Pak Yohan and Ibu Nada.

The feedback from both the students and their supervising lecturer, Mr. Will Turner, has been overwhelmingly positive. They shared that they have received exceptional support from our AIS teachers throughout their placement.

A huge thank you to our supervising teachers for their time, mentorship, and encouragement: Ibu Ellis, Ms. Jordan, Ibu Karlina, Ms. Aditi, Mr. Kessell, Mr. Cosi, Mr. Dave O’Shea, Mr. Dan, Ms. Susan, and Ms. Kourtney.
