Returning for another successful year, the AIS Film Festival 2026 brought together young filmmakers from AIS Jakarta and participating schools to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and student expression through film. The festival featured more than 60 student-produced films across a variety of genres, including drama, documentary, comedy, and horror. Showcasing the work of students aged 10 to 18, the event provided an opportunity for emerging filmmakers to share their ideas, develop their creative skills, and engage with a wider audience.
This year’s festival was held under the theme “Actions Speak Louder Than Words”, encouraging students to explore the power of visual storytelling and communicate meaning beyond dialogue. The films presented demonstrated a range of perspectives, emotions, and filmmaking approaches, reflecting both the creativity and dedication of the participants. Building on the momentum of previous years, the AIS Film Festival continues to provide a valuable platform for students to collaborate, create, and gain confidence in sharing their stories through film.
